Tywyn is a town and seaside resort in Gwynedd, Wales. It has a population of 3,264.

Landmarks in Tywyn include St Cadfan's Church, which is a Grade I listed building and dates from the twelfth-century. Inside the church is the Cadfan Stone, which has on it the earliest known inscriptions in the Welsh language, most likely dating from the ninth-century. Tywyn is also known for its beach and promenade; the latter was constructed during the nineteenth-century. Hen Dyffryn Gwyn is a Grade II* listed building dating from 1640 and is a preserved rural dwelling house.

The town has facilities for sports such as football, cricket and hockey. Tywyn & Bryncrug F.C. play their home games at Cae Chwarae.
